Everything You Need to Know
Your Questions, Answered
Is the GRANA Dirty Dozen an original military watch?
The original GRANA WWW was one of only twelve wristwatches commissioned by the British Ministry of Defence in 1945. Our current collection is an officially produced Swiss reinterpretation, faithfully preserving the spirit and proportions of the historic model while incorporating modern manufacturing standards.
Where are GRANA watches made?
Every GRANA watch is assembled, inspected and regulated in Switzerland by Société des Montres West End SA, continuing a long tradition of Swiss watchmaking excellence.
Which movement powers the watch?
The GRANA Dirty Dozen is equipped with a Swiss automatic Sellita movement, selected for its reliability, precision and worldwide serviceability.
What is the power reserve?
The automatic movement offers approximately 41 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
Is the watch waterproof?
Yes. The watch is water-resistant to 50 metres (5 ATM), making it suitable for everyday wear. It is not designed for scuba diving.
Why did you choose a 39 mm case?
The original WWW measured approximately 36 mm. Our 39 mm case preserves the vintage proportions while offering improved comfort and presence on the modern wrist.
Why is the lume beige instead of bright white?
We use an Old Radium Super-LumiNova® finish to recreate the warm appearance of vintage military watches while providing modern luminescent performance.
Is this a limited production model?
GRANA watches are produced in small batches rather than mass production. This approach allows us to maintain strict quality control and preserve the exclusivity of each collection.
What straps are included?
Each watch is supplied with easy-adjustable (Bonklip) stainless steel strap and black Nato strap
How long does shipping take?
Orders are generally dispatched within 1–2 business days from Switzerland via FedEx Priority. Delivery usually takes 5-7 business days depending on destination.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship worldwide with fully insured FedEx Priority.
Will I have to pay import duties or taxes?
Orders shipped outside Switzerland may be subject to local import duties or VAT depending on your country's regulations. These charges are determined by local customs authorities and are the buyer’s responsibility.
What warranty do you provide?
Every GRANA watch is covered by a 2-year international warranty against manufacturing defects.
Can my watch be serviced in the future?
Yes. Thanks to its Swiss movement and our long-term commitment to the brand, your GRANA watch can be serviced for many years to come.
Can I return my watch?
Yes. If you are not completely satisfied, you may return your watch within 14 days, provided it is unworn and in its original condition.
Is the crystal sapphire?
Yes. The sapphire crystal is boxed and above the bezel.
Why is GRANA different from other military-inspired watches?
Many brands produce watches inspired by the Dirty Dozen. GRANA is different because it is one of the original twelve manufacturers selected by the British Ministry of Defence in 1945. Our collection is not inspired by history - it continues it.
Why should I choose GRANA?
Because authenticity cannot be recreated.
The GRANA Dirty Dozen is not a tribute or a look-alike. It is the official continuation of one of the rarest military watches ever produced. Designed in Switzerland and built in limited quantities, it combines genuine historical heritage with modern Swiss watchmaking.
